Returns and Refund Policy

This Returns and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through pillarcoffeeroasters.com. This Policy is effective as of the date a customer places an order.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms set forth below.

1. Perishable Goods

Coffee is a perishable, consumable food product. Due to health and safety regulations, opened coffee products are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange except in cases of verified damage, defect, or fulfillment error.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If a product is received damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Customer must notify Pillar Coffee Roasters within seven (7) days of confirmed delivery.
  • Notification must include the order number and photographic evidence of the issue.

Upon verification, Pillar Coffee Roasters may, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the product at no additional cost; or
  • Issue a refund to the original payment method.

Failure to notify within the required timeframe may result in denial of the claim.

3. Quality Concerns

Flavor perception may vary based on brewing method, grind size, water quality, and equipment used. If a customer believes a product does not meet quality expectations:

  • Customer must contact us within fourteen (14) days of delivery.
  • Brewing details may be requested for evaluation.

Resolutions, if any, including replacement or store credit, shall be provided at the sole discretion of Pillar Coffee Roasters.

This provision does not constitute a guarantee of taste preference.

4. Unopened Product Returns

Unopened, unused coffee products may be returned within fourteen (14) days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • Product must be in original, sealed condition.
  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed after inspection and approval of the returned merchandise.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened coffee products (except as provided in Section 2)
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Custom, subscription, or wholesale orders

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on the financial institution.

Pillar Coffee Roasters is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or banking institutions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pillar Coffee Roasters’ liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the purchase of products shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.
